"...if you really don’t want this to become part of the blogosphere you should say so on twitter, then digg the tweet then put the digg thread in del.icio.us then take a picture of your screen showing it and post in flickr and then Cory Fucking Doctorow will see it and only then is it guaranteed to get the message to every last blank-eyed vacuous turd that makes up the Web 2.0 “revolution”."

I like the idea of Cory Doctorow's middle name being "Fucking".

From the same site, I also found a crazy person (it's a bit tl;dr), and an even more crazy person. Someone on IRC linked to a cached post by [info]janglur, but that was not so much the crazy and more kinda sad really. I won't link to that further; I'm told it was already on SA anyway, and most of the recent posts have gone too.

In quite blatant defiance of the quote above, I have yet more Web2.0 stuff. Things are now aggregated at Swurl, which has a picture of a husky, and FriendFeed, which doesn't. I also made myself a page at netvibes, a useful portal which is handier (for me, at the moment, at least) than iGoogle.

Somehow, it is a ridiculous time in the morning. I should go to bed. Also, new icon.

I think Cory Doctorow's middle name should be "Who?"
I only know of him via Boing Boing, which occasionally has interesting things. (It used to be much better.) Almost certainly thinks he's far, far more important than he actually is, but an infinite number of times less annoying than other Boing Boing writer Xeni Fucking Jardin.
Cheers, I've been looking for that site ever since ya last mentioned it.

also cool song duder
It is a site of much amusement. And one of the few where the comments are actually worth reading; the quote and the links to crazy people are all from the comments section.

As for the song, it's the only track I really like off that album. The rest I'm at best indifferent to, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Oh well.
whoa this guy is fucking insane

"There is also video of an MI5 agent masturbating publicly in Winter Park, Florida in September 2000, which is very helpful in explaining the obsessive motivation of homosexual British Intelligence operatives in pursuing me all over the globe."
Isn't it awesome? I think the part I like best is where he quotes from Usenet posts of people basically saying "you are crazy, you are not being stalked by MI5, your house is not bugged, the TV and radio are not talking to you" and somehow converts that into a reason that he's absolutely right.

That and how he interprets things that have absolutely nothing to do with him as persecution. I'm glad I have the internet to make me feel comparatively well-adjusted.
